One of the greatest events in history took place 50 years ago! On August 28, 1963, Civil Rights were written into the history books of America. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech highlighted what was the defining event that took place advocating for equal job opportunities for all and opening the door for freedom to reign in the hearts of all.
The Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU) Puget Sound and Pierce County chapters will sponsor the march for jobs equality and freedom in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington.
Join us for the rally, community celebration, and cook out!
