Nancy Kibocha has been a passenger service worker at SeaTac Airport for the last six years. She is originally from Kenya and immigrated here in 2016. She is a mother of one and a pillar in her community. At work, she is a lead and trainer for new staff. She is also an active union member and shop steward. She has advocated for her co-workers at various occasions such as the Together We Rise conference in DC, the SeaTac Airport contract campaign and Fight for Healthcare at SeaTac Airport . In Dec 2022, she represented her fellow SeaTac workers in DC and joined hands with airport workers from 15 other Airports in a national day of action to demand that Congress pass the Good Jobs For Good Airports. Later in March 2023, She shared her personal experience as an Airport Worker with members of Congress in DC to demand Lawmakers include wage and benefit standards for airport service workers in the 2023 FAA reauthorization bill.
